“Secretive, unknown and subversive literally a symbol within another. Raw and swathed in darkness Glyph continues the diversity that is US Black Metal. Light Shall Become Shadow with its drone like quality and introspection. Corrupt That Which it Will Be with its confrontation and jabs of anguish . Sorrowful and dark as heard on ...And So Fares The City. Glyph are not concerned by the thoughts of others yet pursue a darkened form of Black Metal that is true to their nature and not the trends that surround them . Recommended 9/10
- The Coroners Report Mag (New Zealand)

"A great example of how to be raw while still being able to capture every instrument. Picking up on some notes of Bathory production, but mixed with more of a Deathspell Omega presentation."
- Metal Trenches

"Glyph is the first band I want to talk about especially since they begin the compilation off with a killer song called, “Of the Clock Tower.” The track reminded me a lot of Summoning’s first album, “Lugburz,” and contains a very haunting atmosphere. There are plenty of intense sounding black metal riff structures as well as some blistering drum parts. The band’s second track, “Light Shall Become Shadow,” is also very impressive and once again establishes this cold and grim sounding atmospheric landscape full of raw sounding black metal."
- Rock and Metal Temple

“The second release from this US act. Not as lofi as some some fellow countryman but it still maintains some resemblance with the guitar being the conductor and the vocals working more as a filler even if they are good. The importance of the guitar gives a proper stage to showcase the player's quality. The percussion is also nicely executed and never gets boring with a constant change in rhythm patterns.
This sort of production tones down the violence that is always imbued into the black metal style but on the other hand allows the listener to savour the music properly and observe all the small details within.”
- Mão da Glória Youtube Channel

“Glyph plays a style of black metal that is raw, lo-fi and depressive sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover darkness and doom themes. In my opinion Glyph are a very great sounding raw, depressive and lo-fi black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep.”
